Little Little Tokyo Plein Air Painting

A little Painting I did last Sunday in Little Tokyo Los Angeles. I used a Pentel waterbrush and Gouache Paint.

Designer Con 2014 - Pasadena

Here's a couple of prints I had at Dcon 2014. The Wookie-totoro is NEW (I literally finished the artwork the night before the show. (Available soon at here )

Had a blast doing Designer Con in Pasadena. This was my first time exhibiting at Dcon and it was such a great experience!! I shared a booth with my buddy Raul (@nbdla - thats his awesome painting in the background.

I've always wanted to do a poster parody. This week's illustration friday theme was "ocean" and I thought it would be fun to do one based on the 1960's movie "Ocean's 11". I didn't have time to draw all the guys, so I made it Ocean's 2.

Our mark for the week was this petite lady wearing a zipped up leather jacket and shorts. Right before picking her as our mark we saw a guy on a cool vintage vespa. I decided to combine the two. It's quite possible he picked her up later on down the block.

Rainy day on Wilshire. Our 14th mark had a unique way of holding his umbrella. It was held really high up. Perhaps he was blocking the rain for an imaginary little friend.

We had a great turnout today! I think there was about a dozen of us. It was really cool to meet new people and sketch. This week's mark was having Chipotle for lunch (according to his brown bag) Here's my take on him.

I got inspired from the drawing club last night, so I decided to take one of my drawings and do a more stylized illio.

Happy New Year!!! It's been way too long since I've posted. Went to the drawing club last Thursday. The theme was "True Grit" and the model we had was awesome!!! Here are some doodles from the session. I think I need bigger paper... all my drawings are cropped. I improvised on a few and just drew the missing feet on a separate piece of paper.
